Need Help re: VWL view

DH and I are booked for three nights at VWL at the end of July (followed by 3 nights at BCV).

We know nothing about the resort (though I am sure we will be fully informed by then, thanks to the DIS).

Can anyone suggest a room view that I should request?

most of VWL is a woods view - you don't want the room by the service area. this is a picture

now the best views are the water view - quiet pool area - but there are so few of these - less than 5% so unless you are very lucky (I am not) -then you won't get a water view.

this is a beautiful resort - you will love your visit.

remember that Electric water pagen is at 9:30 on the beach in Bay Lake (where everyone will be crowded around).

I always request a room close to the elevators. That way, you eliminate that awful room previously posted. That room is one of the farthest from the elevators. Also, all of the pool view rooms are located near the elevators. These rooms are also the closest to the Lodge. It's worked for me all three times, but two times getting an atrium room, with an AWESOME pool view!!!!
