Need Help re. School Plays

One of our schools just did a pantomime of Robert Loius Stevenson's "Treasure Island" - it was great fun! They did not sing, but used recorded songs as music for a few dance numbers - there was a pirate dance, a dance of the monkeys on the island, the flowers did a dance etc. This pantomime had kids from ages 6 and up doing dances, and the main actors were probably as young as 7 or 8 and up. It was nice to have the straight acting broken up by some dance numbers. If your crew aren't really dancers, you can keep the dance moves simple.

My dd has been in the school plays every year she was in Beauty and the beast in 5th grade, J.T. and the pirates in 6th and Robin hood in the 7th this year.. All the kids love it. As parents to help with costumes and snacks .and anything eles you need.
