Need help! Re: Hoop-de-Doo & Disney Dining Card

Have a couple questions and I hope I am posting them in the correct place! We are planning our 3rd trip for Dec of this year. Our last visit was June 2005, when we had annual passes and was able to get a Disney Dining discount card. Since then, our passes have expired and we did not renew because we didn't know we would be taking this trip in Dec. and since we live in California, didn't need them. We received a renewal notice in the mail for the dining discount card, but now that our passes have expired, are we able to renew for the card? We DO want to renew our passes now, but are unsure of how to do that from California, or if that is even an option, or do we start from scratch? So I guess my question is.....can we renew annual passes from California so that we can secure a renewal of the dining card?

Last question.....have things changed since my planning of my last trip? Is Hoop-De-Doo only able to be reserved 180 days out now? Wasn't it 2 years before, or is that my imagination?

You can renew your pass online: www.disney.go.com (click on destinations, click on Disneyworld, click on passholders) or call 1-407-560-PASS. If your passes have expired you will have 30 days after expiration date to renew at renewal price. Afterwards, you will pay regular price for a new one.
