We will soon be eating breakfast at CP (8ish) prior to park and I want to make sure that I know the ins and outs of getting to the MK so early. We will be staying at OKW and driving to the MK so we aren't taking the resort bus. I am assuming the the monorail and/or ferry are operating so that we can just park at the TTC. What time does the monorail start running in the morning prior to park opening?

TIA!

I would ask your concierge when you get to the hotel. I have had so many different answers to this. In November, we arrived at MK 30 min. before our reservation at CRT (8:00). The park opened at 9:00. WE were able to go in about 15 minutes early and got wonderful pictures in an empty park.

The one bit of advise I have is to ask for your check when you sit down. Don't wait until the end. When you are finished you want to get into the park as soon as possible.

The monorail starts running about 7:30am (at least the last time I was around for it starting). The buses to get you there will start at 6:30 am. Depending on when you reservation is you may just want to take the bus.

We love to get into Crystal Palace early! Doing it again this next trip....Getting to walk down main street without all the crowds:love:

You should not have a problem driving there...

I know this is none of my business, just wondering how come you're driving to Magic Kingdom if you are staying onsite? Magic Kingdom is the only park we will not drive to.... :rolleyes1

Hate having to park at ttc then take the monorail/ferry over..... We prefer the bus dropping us off right at the M.K.

We aren't staying at a monorail resort or one that is a boat ride from MK. And since we never stay at MK all day we want to have our car there.

ahhh... again, I know it was none of my business. I was just wondering because that is the one park we will not drive to. (We don't usually stay on the monorail either) Hope you have a great trip:hug:
