We are going to to to Typhoon Lagoon in May- weve never been to the Disney water parks.:cutie:
We are going our first day, right from check in so.................
do I need to bring towels or do they give you towels?
do they have lockers for keys cell phones ect?
and last but not least do you think 5 hours will be long enough?
Thank you Nettii:)

PS Silly question do the rays have their sting ray barbs removed? after the passing of Steve Irwin:sad1: even a littel sting ray looks huge to me and my family?

Im just bumping myself back to the top so I can get some action! Hope you guys have some input thnks Nettii:)

Yes you can either bring you towels from the hotel or you can RENT their towels, but they will not give you towels for free.

There are lockers and I am not sure how much they are because we never use them. They give you a little slinky looking thing to keep on your wrist with your locker key on it. We have always just wrapped everything up in a towel and put it in the bottom basket of the stroller. Maybe not the best way to keep things safe, but we were always very close by.

Everything in the shark tank is very small and stays pretty close to the bottom. I doubt the rays have barbs. DH seems to believe there is glass in the middle of that thing because the hours we watched the fish never came to the surface. It striked him as odd. I don't know!!:confused3

5 hours is pretty good time...we normally went as soon as they opened and left around 2:30 or so......BRING PLENTY of sunscreen!!! You are gonna need it all!!!!

Have fun..this one is my fav water park!!! The lazy river is AWESOME!!!!

Thnks so much for the reply we are looking forward to it! Im just trying to get all my ducks in a row.(Hewy-DH Dewy-DS and Louie-DS!)
Thnks again Nettii:)

I've not been to Typhoon Lagoon with kids (went to Blizzard Beach when my kids were little). We bought towels when we got there and took them home with us....a little expensive, but it was a momento. We left everything we could in the hotel/car and got a little waterproof thing for the tickets and credit cards. It worked fine. I recall the lockers being expensive.

You get money back on the lockers when you return the key they are not that much $7 or so.

I know that there is no glass in SharkTank as they allow scuba on the opposite end they are using at the time.Fish are just use to being bottom dwellers.Have had a ray surface around us once but with the way you are swimming and there should be no worries.Remember your not Jumping in or diving down .
