I am booked on the Dream Thur June 1 2012. I just realized the Monday before is Memorial day:eek:. I am planning to go to WWHP just before or just after the cruise and bookend the cruise with Seaworld .Would the Tue/Wed after memorial day be quiet as those who came for the long weekend have gone home or should I go after the cruise with our first full day being Tue June 6? Can anyone tell me what this past memorial day week was like?

I Plan on staying at one of the US hotels for the early entry. I have fibromyalgia and need every advantage I can get beating the heat and lines.

Thanks:thumbsup2

Well, HP is always busy. We went the week before christmas ( a time that is normally not very busy) and while the parks overall were not crowded, the HP area was packed. I think no matter when you go, HP will be busy. Of course, since you are going next year, things my be a little calmer, but its to early to tell. Also, a lot of college kids will already be done with school already before your cruise. However, June 6th will be even worse since schools will have just finished up. From the little I have read on the crowds the first week or so of June, it sounded like it was crazy! Universal even increased the prices of the Express Pass for the non-hotel guests becuase of how busy it was.

If I was you, I would go before the cruise to hopefully avoid the start of summer rush. Also, great idea with staying onsite! Just remember, while it allows you to enter the park early, you can not use the Express Pass on the main HP ride. If you do not mind riding solo, the single rider line can really speed things up. The longest I have ever waited in single rider was 10 minutes and the HP normal line was 90!

Thanks. Two of my kids are still under ten so solo is out for me. I was hoping to go after the cruise but now I'm not sure thats a good idea.
