Hi i'm going to DLP with my friends who have never been to any of the Disney's before!! they're thinking that its going to be like Alton Towers so I want to make it as magical as possiable!! We are going to Buffalo Bills one night but would love to do a nice resteraunt the third! What would be your choice? thanks :) (ooo prefrably not in the parks as they close at 6pm) x

One of the Disneyland Hotel restaurants if you want a really special meal - but they are expensive. I'd have suggested Walts but its in the park so wouldn't be suitable for dinner if the parks close early when you're there.

I would recommend The Steakhouse in Disney Village. We went for the first time this year (or last year if you are reading it in 2011) and will definitely be returning in Feb. They do a lovely Mojito too.
Inventions in the Disneyland Hotel is supposed to be fabulous too but i havent ever been able to afford it.
I hope they find it magical- I am sure they will.

I would suggest The Steakhouse or a Character Meal at Cafe Mickey both in the Village. If you want some where extra special then The California Grill at Disneyland Hotel is very nice but expensive.

Or you could go for lunch in the park and either try Walts or the Blue Lagoon.

California Grill or Inventions ~ not been to California Grill myself yet (but it does look lovely) but I really rate Inventions. :thumbsup2

Had to laugh at the Alton Towers bit. DH's work colleague still can't get his head round the fact that Disney has such nice dining options. I reckon he thinks DH makes it up about the nice restaurants and really thinks we eat burger and chips every day!! :lmao:

I would opt for Cafe Mickey for a magical experience! I also rate highly the Yacht Club in the Newport Bay. Hope you have a lovely meal wherever you go!

It purely depends on what you call a nice restaurant. Does that mean posh or does that mean nice experience. We have two kids so our 'nice' would be Cafe Mickey which is a great interactive Disney experience.

Wherever decide make sure u prebook as both Cafe Micke and Inventions had massive quese when we went late September and thats "out of season" . It spoils the moment waiting upto an hour for a table.

Thanks everyone :rotfl: Think i've decided on Cafe Mickey. We have a few fussy people in the group so dont think they would appreciate the posh food and it will be good to get some group character shots without the crowds in the park :rotfl: booked for 9th feb 7.30pm yay
