Hi, need some help here.
We're traveling on May/June and planning to stay 4 nights off property and 4 nights at GC. First time going to Disneyland with DH and our 2 DDs, almost 3 yo and 7 mo at the time of the trip. We went to WDW last year, but it was a totally different scene, my big girl was 20 months old, but we travelled with both GMs.
First we were planning on staying in San Diego for more days, but finally we decided to short down that part of the trip and enjoy our Disney fun :)
We are looking for a nice walking distance hotel, and save some money (almost anything will be cheaper than GC :P). I don't mind if doesn't include breakfast, specially 'cause my little one is allergic to cow's milk, and we need to be very careful with my and her food.
Thanks!

I like the Candy Cane Inn. They offer free breakfast, it is within walking distance. Its clean and has a nice pool. They also offer shuttle service to/from park if you don't want to walk. I think its a great value.

I like Best Western Park Place Inn...it's literally right across the street from the resort gates on Harbor, at the crosswalk light. Outside of GC, it's the closest resort to the main entrances, even closer than Disneyland Hotel and Paradise Pier.

You do get free breakfast each morning of your stay, which saves $$. It's nothing super fancy, but the price is right and you can't beat the walk back at the end of a long day. :thumbsup2
