need help on one dinner

I need suggestions for one dinner. That day magic kingdom closes at 7pm. we have time to go somewhere. I'd like to book Ohana since we're staying at Poly, but it's all booked. I have 1 table service credit. 2 kids.

1) Boma
2) Cape May clam bake
3) Whispering Canyon
4) Downtown disney

or any suggestions. and transportation tips, please.

Any of the places except Boma would be my suggestion.

Boma's dishes while good, are very sweet. All of the dishes have a sweet spice in them or a fruity taste, including things like potatoes, veggies, even the meats were rubbed with cinnamon.
The kids station is plain stuff you would find anywhere, mac and cheese, nuggets...that sort of thing.

We love Whispering Canyon and look forward to trying Cape May next time. That is where I would go.

Whispering Canyon would be my choice since you are dining with kids, plus the boat ride is nice and the hotel is beautiful!

The rest are fine choices but will involve too much traveling IMO.

I'd go Whispering Canyon, to keep it "in the neighborhood."

Out of your list, I would pick Cape May Cafe or Downtown Disney. We've not done Boma for dinner (although we love their breakfast). You could not pay us to go back to WCC (awful food, awful service).

I am still hoping to get Ohana. Will the concierge help us to get a reservation?
Can't believe we're paying for that resort and can;'t dine there.

Of the choices, I would pick Cape May. Boma would also be good; you'd be able to explore the AKL and look for animals for a fun evening activity.
