I am thinking of making a 4 day cruise part of a special WDW trip next Sep. We are adding a member to the family, which will make us 5. Is it better to book a cat. 4 or two lower cat. rooms?? Trying to be as economical as possible(family of 5!). :rolleyes1

Well, it is often said, that booking 2 lower connecting cabins are cheaper. That is majority of the time, sometimes it is more costly. My preference would be two connecting cat. 10's, as there is 2 TV's, 2 sets of washrooms, etc. We prop the door open between the two, and have a very large suite of our own...

:goodvibes

Usually it is cheaper to get connection Cat 10's or Cat 9's than to pay for one Cat 4 but you will need to plug in the numbers yourself and see. Also if your kids are old enough the one Cat 6 and one Cat 11 across the hall can sometimes be cheaper as well and that way you get the verandah to enjoy as well. :)

Hope this helps.... :)
