Need help NOW!!

My girls are going to COlorado with their grandparents in about an hour and a half. Is there someway that I can authorize them to give permission for medical care if need be?

I always had heard if I write a note and then have it notorized. What do you guys do??

that is what they make you do to take a child that is not yours on the cruise... I would think that would work. Good luck

If DD is going with family in the US we just send a copy of her insurance card. Others have also done this when we have taken their kids on trips with us. So far we haven't need it.

There are several websites that have a medical release form that you would sign along with either a 2nd card from your insurance provider OR a copy of it would be sufficient.

We use this one but we don't have it notarized simply because we just don't. We probably should but we don't. Anyway here is a link to what we use and we just delete the notarized part out. If you can get it notarized before they leave I would but if not I wouldn't stress too much about it. They can always call you on the phone if needed and I'm sure you could get to Colorado if need be.

Thanks so much. Normally I wouldnt worry so much.......but grandpa has narclepsy and sort of makes me nervous (especially if DH or I arent there)

We just send the insurance card & hand write a note and sign it. Even if DH & I are going away for a weekend we leave this information with our family.
