NEED HELP, Newark to Orlando in November

We have been looking at any flights out of Newark to Orlando, or even to Tampa and the prices are VERY high, even Jet Blue. And if teh prices are decent, the times are not good: Ex: Land in Orland 6 PM, leave Orlando 11 Am and so on.

We will even fly out of JFK if needed.

What dates and what times do you want?? I would try USA 3000 as there R/t's in Nov are $137 all in.

I want to leave early Saturday, Nov. 4th and return as late as possible on Sunday, the 12th. Seems USA3000 does not fly on certain days from Newak.

Many other airlines either land in Orlando too late in the day or leave Orlando too early they day I leave.

I am showing $246 r/t for those times on various carriers. I would definately give it a month or so as that seems to high to me.

When booking our October trip last year, I checked EWR and JFK prices daily before finally booking Delta Song out of JFK for $155 per person (that was after all taxes and everything)! Go on Orbitz and type EWR as departing airport but also check off all airports within a radius. It will show you all carriers with prices. JFK was ALWAYS cheaper than EWR. Not sure where you are located, but don't rule out Sprirt out of Atlantic City. They sometimes have good deals!

Spirit right now out of atlantic city is $677.00 and JFK is $43.00 more than EWR. I would check weekly for about another month or two.

Just checked your dates on kayak and saw a flight out of LaGuardia for $217 and it was a non-stop flight as well. You would be getting there at 6:16pm on the 4th, your flight back on the 12th would leave MCO at 6:50pm. I am not sure if your able to go from LGA or not. I know you said you would like to get there early, but I thought I would post this to see if it helps. PM me if you need any more details.

He wants to leave early early in the am and that jacks up the price. The cheapest I saw from his preferred times is $238.00 from LGA and the $217.00 fare would wind up being more if you figure in gas and other expenses. EWR is still the less expensive airport at $246.00.

i got an early morning out of EWR on a saturday and a late return on a friday for $178 pp on continental for december, but i booked in jaunary. it's now up to $398 pp for the same flights. i don't think you'll find anything cheaper out of EWR, unfortunately. i never have.

Part of your problem is the travel on Saturday and Sunday, they're the most expensive days of the week.

The rest of your problem is that it's Jersey week, and the worst time of year to fly from NJ to WDW.

Prices may not drop at all, but go up. Southwest has not yet come out with their schedule for Nov, you can wait for them and fly out of Philadelphia.
