need help naming our puppy

Well today my family is getting a puppy and we've been trying to come up with a good name for it. We've been tossing around a bunch of names but between my bro, sis and I can't decide on one name. We've talked about Brady (after New England Patriot Tom Brady) and most recently I tossed out Stitch in hopes of getting us all to agree on a Disney name.

So now I'm here looking for suggestions Disney or other wise(thought I'm hoping for a Disney name.) So here's a picture, he's the guy on the left.

I'd call him Joe

I don't know why but I've always thought Joe was a good name for a dog.

I have no great name ideas, but what a cute dog!

We just named our dog Jack, after Jack Sparrow. We already have a dog named Lady, but I couldn't talk DH into Tramp.

I am partial to Murphy since that is my dog's name. I think that is a great dog name. He also looks like a Barry to me.

I read somewhere that naming dogs with a two syllabel name makes them easier to train. Also something about the Y sound at the end made it easier, but don't know how true that is.

You all think like me! Joe would work if it wasn't my dad and brothers name. Although that makes me like it even more.

I definitely tossed Jack out there as a suggestion fior Jack Sparrow. My mom thought my cousin might get a little insulted. (He should feel honored really.) Murph was one of my brother's suggestions but he took it back to save for when he gets his own dog.

Sully was just suggest to me. Because Sully from Monster's Inc. was furry like my pup is.

I like Y ending names too - dog is Tally & daughter is Livy. My son is Kevin and I'm hoping we don't call him Kevvy

Anyhow for the dog - As a Pats fan I agree on Brady. I really like Sully because he's one of my favorite Disney characters.

Our next dog will probably be Faline because DD is obsessed with Bambi. She wanted to name her brother Faline

Are you a Sox fan? How about Papi? That cutie pie puppy looks like he'll be big!

Disney names.......Simba, Mufasa, Zazu, Timon, Rafiki (LK has all the good names!), Marlin, Crush, Nigel, Buzz

Maya, Max, Shadow, Shorty, Truman, Dewey, Jack, and Buck.

When I get a dog I'm either naming it after an old actor(Humphry Bogart, Gene Kelly, Clark Gable) or a music term(formada)

Some Disney related names... Prince Charming, Nemo, Jiminy, Pongo, Yensid (Sid for short ^_^), Sleepy, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sneezy, Bashful, Doc...

gris gris- I suggested Papi but my brother shot it down. Made me sad because he's my favorite Sox guy, well him and V-Tek. Manny is in the running though.

I've written down a lot of these names to suggest to my family. They are so great. Maybe I'll just need to get another puppy.

I like Bert, it's definitely going on the list. My dad and sister picked the dog up this afternoon. I thought since you were all kind enough to suggest some great names I'd share the first picture my sister actually took of him. When I get home from work today we're going to talk about names.
