Need Help Making Ressies

I plan on making my first reservation using points at BCVs for travel next fall. I plan to stay in a 1BR for 20 nights. I am aware of the 11 month window for home resort members, but what I'm unsure about is the earliest day that I'll be permitted to make the reservation. Is there a calculator on the internet that can assist in calculating the exact date(ala the dining PS calculator)? Also, is the 11 month window based on check-in or check-out date? Does the 11 month window force me to make weekly reservations at a time or will they allow em to book all three weeks at once(even though the 2nd and 3rd weeks will be outside the 11 month window when I make the first). My dates are fixed so I really do not want to miss out on the opportuntiy. I just want to mark it in the calendar and not think about it until the earliest possible date allowed. What would be the best way to approach this? Should I book it a week at a time if it's based on the check-out date?

You can book exactly 11 months prior to your CHECK OUT date.
If you are worried about availability, the best way to do it is to call every morning, at 9:00 am, for 20 consecutive days. I don't know if your arrival date demands this kind of scheduling, but if you are worried about it, it is the best way.

UMMMM, if you are traveling in the fall, you are way PAST the 11 month window. I would say when you are traveling will determin if you need to call day by day. September is not so bad, but the food and wine festival is busy. The first 2 weeks of December are also quite busy at DVC.

I'm sorry, I should have been clearer. I plan on visiting the last two weeks of October 2003 and the first week of November. It's my favorite time of the year since the climate is a shade cooler and the Food and Wine Festival gets underway. We also look forward to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.

I assume you own points at BCV so you will have the 11 month window? I would book 5 days at a time. Say your arrival is Oct 20, call on Sept 25, 30, Oct 5... You can't call for days beyond 11 months. So on Sept 25, you can only call for up to Oct 24 (which checks out on Oct 25). Maybe talk to member services for advice on this when the time comes. This is a popular time for the food & wine festival, but I'm not sure that daily calling is necessary.
