Need help in finding a cake topper!!!

I am using the Lenox Minnie's Dream Wedding figurine

for my cake topper but would like to find a floral arch base to set the figurine on in ivory to match the figurines but haven't had any luck finding one. Anybody have any suggestions or know of any websites/stores that sell the bases without any figurines?

Be Careful!!! I'm not sure about your question, but I had a cake topper very, very similar to that one (I think it was lenox).

About 1 minute before the wedding reception my wedding cordinator told me that the cake topper was too heavy.

Apparently it made the top of the cake sink in. The fixed the top by covering it with flowers, but the cake topper was never used. It ended up sitting on the table next to the cake the whole night.

I am not sure if this will happen to you too, but maybe you could suggest them letting you try it first so you are not stuck without one like me.

Have you tried stores like Hobby Lobby, Jo-ann, Garden Ridge, or Michael's? I'm pretty sure they have things like that there in their wedding aisles....

You do have to be careful with your cake toppers. If they are too heavy, it will sink into the cake...check with the person who is doing your cake to see if it's too heavy. They should know what's best to use! I know that i've seen brides who make their toppers as part of a nice display on the cake table so that it doesn't damage the cake.

I remember back to my first wedding...I used the Mickey and Minnie statues from the Disney store and then on each satellite cake, I had other Disney figurines. I remember that they sank into the cake a bit...not much, but they did sink in.

you can also try www.wilton.com for the stands. Look in their wedding section! They have bases that you can add your own decorative elements to match your colors/theme to.
