Hi!

I purchased some appliques for our upcoming WDW trip. I believe all of them have some sort of heat bond on the back but I want to sew them to the shirt as well.

How is the best way to do this? Can I use the thread that looks like fishing line?

I am open to all suggestions!

I don't want to mess these up!

Thank you!

I am going to try one last time. I have a few appliques that I bought and would like to know the best way to sew them on. Thank you.

I would probably just use heat & bond or stitch witchery to iron them on. You could use a clear nylon thread but I'm not sure it's necessary unless you're going to be washing it like a zillion times, and you'd probably need some kind of interfacing behind the applique to reinforce the stitching. Seems like extra work to me.

Very cute appliques, though -- where did you get them?

I got them off etsy.
