70° doesn't sound real cold, but the longer you stay in without some sort of exposure protection the colder your bodies core temperature will get. When diving we would wear a 5mil wetsuit for that temperature of water.Waltoncru said:
Shivering is a natural reaction to the cold and you definitely should get out if shivering starts. Kids have a hard time with that one.
Personally, there are better locations to snorkel than CC. More stuff to look at and better visibility as well. It's still a very fun place when the weather warms up a bit.
