Here is the situation. DD is in her first year at Western and is staying in residence. In these big lecture halls, she has been having great difficulty reading the screen. She already wears contact lenses but I guess her prescription has changed. To make a long story short, she has called four different optometrists and cannot get an appointment until the end of November because of the impending OHIP changes. She is in a panic because she doesn't think she can stand not getting her prescription changed until then. There is no optometrist on campus.

Does anyone know an optometrist in London that might be more accessible? It is so tough when your kids are away from home and you can't do much to help!!!

A lot of opticians have inhouse optometrists. If she looks for ads that say "Eye exams arranged" she should have no problem getting her prescription updated.

Kungaloosh!
Morticia.
