need help for 2005 trip

Would like to plan my 30th annv. trip on my own, where do I start to get the best prices? This will be my second trip to WDW I had AAA to do my last trip in 2000 and was very pleased. but I am sure with your help I can get a better price package. I have started my annv money fund, and am planning to stay at either WL or AKL in Dec.2005 any suggestions would be appreicated.

First, don't do a package. Book your rooms, your flights and buy your tickets separately. If you will be there longer than 7 days or will visit again within a year of this visit, buy an AP. The discounts on meals, and on the room will make it worth your while. Register on a site like Travelocity, and enroll in their Farewatcher program. It will notify you by email when airfare drops. Check frequently on air prices, and such. Go to a site such as Mousesavers.com for codes for rental cars and on rooms, and for info on purchasing tickets. You might also try the Disney Tips board on this forum.

Do a grocery stop and buy some snacky types of things as food at Disney is expensive.
