Need help finishing poem

I found most of this poem off of a site and I want to use it for Father's Day, but I need some help finishing it. The site will only give me most of the poem and then you have to pay. This is what I have, I just need another line or two.



A rock can make a great pet.
It's loyal, and it's true.
A rock will never try to take
A big bite out of you.

You'll never have to feed it
Or take it for a walk.
And best of all your pet ...

cute idea! Wish I would have saw this earlier. My second graders painted rocks for their dads for Fathers Day and on friday the dads came in for "donuts with dad". Each student got up and said "My dad rocks because...."

I was having a hard time thinking of something for the daycare children to do, when another daycare person said she did rocks one year. She didn't have the poem anymore.

The kids painted clay pots for Mother's Day and the rocks will be sealed so they could put them outside in the garden if they want. They just need to finish them up by adding some googly eyes.
