Emril recently had a New Orlean's show. My parents are down there now and they need to know the restaurants that he mentioned on that show. I've looked on the food network but don't know how to search there to find the list.

Is there anyone here that can help?

Hi Suzy,

If I'm thinking of the same show you saw, this is what I remember of it.

He went to Louisiana Seafood Exchange 428 Jefferson Highway (Jefferson) 504-834-9393, which is a wholesale seafood market. I believe you used to be able to eat there, but I'm not sure if you still can.

Also he went to Uglesich Restaurant which is at 1238 Baronne Street (central city) 504-523-8571. Prepare to stand in line, this is an order at a counter, grab a table place. M-F 10:30am to 4pm.

Then I think he went to Franky & Johnny's at 321 Arabella (uptown) 504-899-9146. Yum. Great local atmosphere. Have the stuffed artichoke.

I seem to remember him going to a po-boy place, but I can't remember the name for anything.

Hope this helped.

If your asking about the restaurant he owns it's NOLA

Emeril's restaurants in New Orleans:

Emeril's - 800 Tchoupitoulas St (warehouse district) 504-528-9393

Delmonico - 1300 St. Charles Ave (Garden District) 504-525-4937

NOLA - 534 St. Louis St. (French Quarter) 504-522-6652

Thank you for your responses.

I don't think they wanted to go to his restaurant. They just wanted the ones that he mentioned.

"Join Emeril as he prepares for the big game and party in his own adopted hometown, New Orleans! Emeril takes us on a tour of his beloved city and brings us to some his favorite eating-places"

Hopefully I got them all. If there are more please send them my way.
THANK YOU!!!! :bounce:

He mentioned Cafe DuMond -- that's the place for coffee and bienets (donuts.)

I don't know if he mentioned this place -- but it a wonderful place to get a Muffletta sandwich -- Central Grocery.

Central Grocery
923 Decatur
New Orleans, LA
In the French Quarter

The sandwich is made on this round bread and it has meat and cheese and then this wonderful dressing with olives and stuff in it. It's a wonderful sandwich!
