This is the dress I am considering. I just love it!!!!

Anyway, I need a necklace to go with it. I want to stay under $100, and I would like to get matching earrings if possible. I need some help. Everything I am finding has pearls, which I dislike a great deal, or just isn't right. I want something maybe antiquey looking. I need help.

Maybe Laila Rowe? http://www.lailarowe.com/accessories/dept.asp?s_id=0&page=5&dept_id=3045

Page 5 looked similar but not exact. Or maybe ebay?

Laila Rowe is also located in some malls and they have a much bigger selection than the web site. I know there is one located in the mall by my parents (which I will be visiting this weekend...I love that store :sunny: ). Their jewelry is very inexpensive. If you see something you like and do not have one near you, let me know and I can pick it up for you :)

my necklace and earrings were from 1928 - a line of fashion jewelery. Very affordable - but they looked very rich and elegant with my dress. They have a website www.1928.com and they are in several department stores in the malls around here in PA.

Best of luck - the gown is gorgeous!

my dh bought my matching necklace & earring set from an antique shop. try some local jewelers, dept. stores, overstock.com

I love both of these sites, ladies! I must have looked at a hundred necklaces online, and I never came across either site. I was getting very frustrated. Thanks for your help!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I was going to recommend 1928 too. I had a 1928 locket as a little girl and I always loved it!!! Very reasonably priced too! I think the antique look would be gorgeous with that dress.

I love the 1928 website. The problem I have now is picking just one. I'm leaning towards this:

It has matching earrings:

Are you wearing your hair up? Those earrings would be perfect!

Don't you just love it when it feels like everything comes toghether.. Makes the planning so much easier.

I thought of another place you can look. I have bought things from Cookie Lee jewelry parties. They have things that are antique-y looking. I'm not sure if you can buy from their website, but I know there is a website.

I really think I am going to stick with the 1928 jewelry above. I wanted something with a pear/teardrop shape in red and antiquey looking. This is perfect. Plus, it has the matching earrings and is very affordable. I'm going to get a bracelet, too because the jewelry is so affordable.
CEOPAMOM3-
I'm going to wear my hair sort of half up. This is the closest pic I've found to what I want. I like the idea of long barrel curls hanging down, no crown, though:

I contemplated that style as well, but ended up with my hair all up to avoid any frizzes (my hair was very curly). I think the red in the earrings will look great with your dark hair. My daughter had the front of her hair up with long barrel curls (she has very straight hair). Our vow renewal was 9:00 a.m. on a very hot June day - and her hair was gorgeous all day long.

I had a matching bracelet as well. I would wear the bracelet on your right wrist. I thought it looked very nice in the pics of the ring exchange that were close up.

I also had a tiara - it was low and set into curls on the top of my head - but I loved it! We eloped for our first wedding, so I had the whole set-up for the vow renewal.

Enjoy your planning!

Finding a tiara is another thing all together. I don't want to look like Princess Di, and so many of them stick up so high. I tried to find something understated and also antiquey. I have had no luck. I know I'll find it. It just takes time. But, most things are falling into place really nicely, and I'm having a ball looking at all the wedding stuff!

I thought the search was a blast too!

I bought my tiara on e-bay for about $50... not too high - antique looking and tasteful... I hear you about the Princess Di look..

I had red roses in my bouquet as well... A bit untraditional, but I thought they really stood out.. I don't know if you have gotten as far as your flowers yet...

Have a great time looking!! Let us know how you make out!
