Need help finding cheap memory for my Dell 8200!

So we have a 40GB hard drive in the computer and it is only half full at this point, would that cause the computer to feel like it is running slow when loading the Kodak Easyshare Program or trying to do multiple programs at the same time?

I like our EasyShare camera, but I could not stand the Kodak
software. It slowed our previous computer to a halt. I had to
change the boot up procedure so that the software did not load
automatically. Eventually I just I uninstalled the software.

I bought a memory card reader (old computer didn't have one!)
and now I just use Windows to copy files from the memory card,
instead of using the camera cable.

I use Windows itself to organize photos in various folders.

Someone else can probably recommend a good photo organizing
program. I bet you would notice improvement just by
uninstalling all the Kodak software. However, since you like it,
first get another opinion besides mine.

My girlfriend had (a few years ago) a Kodak camera with the kodak easyshare software, and I personally think that the Kodak management software is one of the worst written pieces of software released for public consumption. It's a memory hog, slow, and it takes five extra steps just than it should just to do what you need it to do.

I use iphoto on my mac now (sorry, a little plug there for apple products, can't help myself) and it's light years beyond any other photo management software out there. With windows, I agree with the previous poster about just using the windows file management system, or to use a free program like Google's Picasa.
