Need Help Finding a home for...

I have read from reputable trainers out there that when a female-female don't get along, they likely will never get along. It's a shame =(

Some questions -

Have you contacted the breeder, assuming you bought her from a breeder. Reputable breeders always put a return clause in the contract. Check your contract - if you don't return her to the breeder and she finds out, she has the right to take you to court over it. Some people forget that a few years after they get a dog and I don't want that to happen to you! The breeder may also be a great resource for finding a new home, too. Tap into that.

Which rescues have you contacted and what responses have you gotten? Are you willing to foster until she is placed? A rescue is usually more willing to do the legwork if they don't have to find another home to place her in temporarily. It's usually a little easier on her, too, to not be bumped between homes. If you are willing to foster, they can list her on petfinder and other resources and do the screening for a new home. Offering some donation money to their org also helps since they run on donations...

Have you contacted your vet? They may be able to post signs in their office as well. I would not post signs like at a pet store but with a vet office, anyone coming in there is probably a little known to the vet staff and they can account for the persons credibility and history.

Good luck in your search! I'm so sorry you have to do that =( =(

Yes we are working with the breeder. She just had a back surgery and is down flat on her back but she's working on it. She is making calls and seeing what she can do. She told me last night dont contact the St. Bernard Rescue, She's been breeding for 35 years and I guess she knows what she's talking about!

She says the Females will NOT get along any longer and that eventually it COULD end in a fight to the death. Yes we are willing to hang onto her as long as it takes to find her a home.

I just wanted to put the word out. You never know who might see this!

Thanks everyone.
