Need Help Figuring Out a Plan

Okay, my head is swimming with all of these choices. I almost never eat at Disney, so this is all a blur. Here's what I need:

We are staying at Sports the evening of MNSSHP on September 20. We will arrive sometime around 2:00, and maybe try to check into the hotel. We want to find a place to eat, preferably a QS restaraunt for a late lunch/early dinner. We don't eat out while at Disney (bring our own food) so this will be a treat. We don't want to waste time at the party eating.

Where would you suggest eating an early dinner? It can be anywhere on property, we will be using the Disney transportation to get around.

Since you want CS then why not eat at your resort? Then you can change and head on over to the party at 4

Are you going to MNSSHP? Keep in mind you can get into MK with your ticket so I would want to get to the MK!!

If you arrive around 2, your room may not be ready - You may want to pack a carry on with what you want to wear to the Party!

Are you on a Dining Plan? How much to you want to spend?

I wonder if Liberty Tree Tavern will ever bring out the characters? That was a favorite place to eat before the Party - now we go to Crystal Palace

If you want a QS meal that is not in the park (since you don't want to eat once you get there), then either eat at your resort, or at the QS restaurants at one of the monorail resorts.

You can get in to MK at 4:00, so you may want to hit up one of the QS inside MK....Casey's Corner would be quick. However, since you said this would be a treat, Casey's is just hot dogs. Our favorite at MK is Columbia Harbour House.

Contempo Cafe at Contemporary is a little unusual and still QS. Captain Cook's at the Poly has a more limited menu, but you can get a Dole Whip.
