After having such a good time at the Poly last weekend, we thought we'd go again this weekend and stay over Saturday night (ahh, the benefits of living in Florida!). I found the Dolphin internet rate $125 or the Swan $139, which seem pretty reasonable(?), and am looking at these because of the location since we want to mainly do the Studio, and know that the BWI/BC/YC would be lots more $$$ - but now can't decide which (Swan or Dolphin)would be better! Both are traditional rooms with resort view...can anyone advise which is the better deal/hotel? I know the Swan advertises those nice beds....!

Where did you get the internet rate with a resort view for $125?

It just came up on the Starwood website this afternoon, wasn't there last night! (Internet only rate) Maybe because I'm looking at tomorrow's date? I put in May 24 for one night, no preference for bed choice, and it came up with 12 choices with this as one. Seems like good deal? Oh, I did sign up for the free points, don't know if that makes a difference or not? Same with the Swan @ $139 - that wasn't there yesterday either. Wish one or the other didn't show up so I didn't have to decide!

They are separate hotels but considered one "resort" sharing the Grotto pool and the boat launch to MGM. Swan( Westin) is smaller, more "intimate" and completely renovated with the new "heavenly beds", a few steps closer to the Boardwalk (and Epcot or MGM if you are walking). Dolphin (Sheraton) is larger (hence has more rooms with views/balconies) 24 hour Tubbi's Bufferia is in the Dolphin.
If the bed is no big dela to you, go to the Dolphin and use the extra $$ to buy a refillable mug ;) :teeth: which will save you more $$ on return trips :)

Thanks so much for the reply - didn't even realize you could do the mugs there! Also, to the other poster, the $125 Dolphin rate is also coming up on the sidestep.com website for both limited and resort views, but doesn't show the $139 Swan rate that was on the Starwood website today.

*Edited to say - oops, meant to say rate is coming up on Orbitz also. Sidestep just takes you to Starwood website, which does have both deals still listed! Getting toooo excited about Disney I guess!
