Need help editing a photo

I took this picture without realizing that there was a reflection in the small window next to the little girl. Can anyone help me edit the reflection out of the photo? TIA

It's not the best job, but it at least demonstrates the technique. I selected all of the glass area minus the bar running through it. I applied a guassian blur to the area to wipe out any visible detail. I adjusted it so that it removed the detail but didn't look too strange. I then added noise back to that area to make it look a bit more natural.

I'm sure someone else can do a much better job of this but I took a stab at it just to try.

Mark - Nice job. I tried doing something similar - selected the glass and applied the gausian blur. But I didn't know what to do after that. It just looked weird. So then I tried to clone it out - but that doesn't look that great either. Thanks for posting your process.

I have a little different take on this one. I think the answer to improving this pic is crop, not fix... What do you think of this way??
