We will be at WDW in a few weeks and was thinking about hitting CW for lunch at the Nascar Cafe. How far is CW from WDW? Do you need a PS for lunch/dinner? If so, what is the # to call? And last but not least....directions would be great.

Since we will be taking a noonish break from WDW parks I thought that a late lunch/early dinner here would be great. Is this doable? or nuts?

Definitely doable. CW is about 20-25 minutes from WDW. We have done lunch there and love it! You do not need a PS and I don't think they even take them there.

Have a gr8 time!

As Spidey said, CW is not far at all. Nascar Cafe is empty for lunch. At night it tends to be crowded.

I don't get it. You're going to CW just for lunch and no parks?
Or are you a big Nascar fan?
They do have good draft beer specials that run all the time.
On the lower floor is a game room.
You will have to pay to park in the garage, unless you park across the street at TGIFridays and cross Kirkman road.
Agree, Nascar will be empty at lunch time, it's the Hard Rock Cafe that gets packed, which is more like a party once you are inside.
I mean, you'll have fun, and you can walk along the jogging path and check out the HRH, it's really pretty.

I guess it's not that weird, because I once drove to the All Star Movies just to have a beef taco salad in the food court.

You are one wild and crazy guy:p

are you a big Nascar fan?
Yes, big Nascar fans. No time to hit the parks this go round but thought that the family would enjoy eating there.

Alright, you can do it.
If you didn't get directions, just take I-4 East towards Orlando. You'll see International Drive on your right. After you pass Sand Lake road, get in the right lane. Universal Blvd is next. The sign will say Universal on it. After you exit, get in the left lane and follow the signs to the parking garage on the right. From there, follow the people into City Walk and head Right like you are going to USF. You'll see the race cars outside.

The kids will have fun because downstairs, they have a bunch of car racing games. You can slam a few beers for cheap, then go upstairs to eat. Brings lots of cash, the kids will want to play games, and there are some carnival games outside they'll ask to play. There is a fountain they can play in, they'll get wet, so bring a change of cloths. It's water jets that shoot up from the ground. Kids run thru it getting soaked.

Thanks a lot for the directions!! very detailed!!
This time next year we hope to be Fl res and will definatley hit US.

You also might want to check out Race Rock Cafe on International Drive. It would be a little closer to Disney.
