Need help! Dr. gave okay to go. Yeah!!!

Well...my doctor gave me the okay to go to WDW at Christmas this year. (Thank goodness since we already have the plane tickets.) I'll be 29/30 weeks during the time we'll be there, 12/20-12/27. Now...we just need to decide where to stay. It'll be me (very pregnant), DH and DD (age 12). We're trying to choose between Wilderness Lodge and Contemporary, taking into consideration the Christmas feel of the hotel and the fact that I'll need rest periods I'm sure.

Does anyone have any advice for me? Any and all input will be greatly appreciated.

I hope you have a wonderful trip and what a beautiful time to go!

My 2 cents is I would choose the contemporary. During our stay at the WL we had long bus waits to the other parks and the boat ride is nice, but can be very slow and very crowded. You need to be comfortable and I think you will have less waiting time on transportation at the Contemporary. The Monorail is very nice option.
Both resorts will be very beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Wow Jody! Disney World and a new baby, you've got a lot to look forward to! I haven't sayed at either hotel, but I have gotten a good look at both of them. In terms of themeing Wilderness Loge was my favorite of any resort. I think it would be spectacular at Christmas. I also think it has much more for you to see and do while you relax, just a more pleasant atmosphere overall. It will also be cheaper than the Contemporary. Now the CR does have the monorail, and that is not to be overlooked, but this is only and advantage when you are planning on going to Epcot or the Magic Kingdom. So overall my vote is for the Wilderness Lode. I hope others who have actually stayed at both resorts will weight in with thier advice as well.
