Need help deciding when!

We're hoping to go back again next year now we are DVC members

January and February are now ruled out for personal reasons. I don't like hot weather or mega crowds so March - Aug are out.

Late September was in the running but think it might be too hot for me and the lovebugs put me off as the mossies ate me alive enough this Jan! November is potentially tricky because of the business (we sell toys!) but I think my parents could cope with the orders in December as last year they dropped off a bit from the manicness of November.

We'll probably go for 21 nights again so thinking of December 1-22nd.

We're not restricted to school holiday as we home ed DS, any other options available that meet the not hot/low crowds criteria?

September is right in the middle of hurricane season and we've had a few holidays hit by them. You should be ok by december though, but I would think the crowds may go up towards Christmas.

Any time after Thanksgiving (last Thursday of November) and before Christmas is the best time to go to avoid the crowds.

If you miss Easter April or early May isn't too bad crowd wise at all, weather will be just warming up for the summer but nothing like as stifling as the hot summer months.
October is also a good time to go, weather should be ideal and crowds not too heavy, plus there is plenty going on at the parks that time of the year.

With no restrictions I personally would go for either of the above.

I agree about the lovebugs last september, they were horrendous! The best year I went for all round everything was late October, we had quiet parks, great weather but not too hot!, and all the excitement of the hallowe'en decorations.
Have been also in March (wet and busy, september too, too hot, and November, too cold to sunbathe!)
