Need help deciding vacation dates - June or July

I orginally was thinking vacation June 5-12 with us and our 7,5, and 3 year old...but the more I read these boards, it seems that it's the wrong time to go...AP holders not blocked out June 6-9, Grad night June 10.
So now thinking July 10-17... need some feedback please. Am I right in switching dates to when the AP holders are blocked out. Or is July always super busy? Will it be too hot to manage with 3 small boys?

Summers are going to be busy no matter when you go IMO, but if it were me (I was asking mysef the same thing a bit ago) I would stick with July when the AP's are blocked out. Also keep in mind that July 17th will be the 55th Anniversary I chose to do July (14-17) rather than June for this summer.

July is hotter and equally as crowded if not more so. It's the heart of the summer and everyone is out of school even year-round schools. I vote for June. We'll be there June 13-18 and even with a few Grad Nights, I am not worried. A full week will give you plenty of time.

A lot hinges on World of Color. Rumors are now saying it will open June 1. If so then July would absolutely be a better choice, IMO. If it delays until after your trip dates then June may be better.
