Planning a trip in August with just DH no children and need help with a few ADRs.

First, is Victoria and Alberts worth it? Seems like an awful lot for dinner, kind of leaning toward no.:upsidedow
Second, Citricos vs Narcoossees
Finally, Captain Grill vs Yachtsman

Thanks!

The only one we've eaten at out of your choices is Yachtsman and it was amazing :thumbsup2.

I'd pick Citricos & Yachtsman. :thumbsup2

Did you check out the menu's to see which restaurant you'd like best? I think there's some on this site, but forsure on allears.net.

From the ones you listed I have only had Narcooses, but I would highly recommend it. Very nice atmosphere and if you time it right you can watch Wishes from your table. Very good food too!! Enjoy whichever you pick.

I've only eaten at Narcoosee's .. and we liked it, but don't remember it being anything wonderful. From what I remember, the atmosphere was better than the food.
We are going to Citricos this time around in June - really excited for it!! We have a lot of family and friends who have eaten there and highly recommend it.

With regards to whether V&A is worth it: I think that it depends on you and how much "different" sorts of foods you like to eat. My fiance and I can't afford it, but if we could, we would book V&A instantly!! Everyone always describes it as a "dining experience." I am pretty sure there is a threat somewhere on here just on V&A.

Thanks for your replies. Here is what we've decided. However, it could still change:)

The wave
Artist Point
Jiko
Citricos

Out of all yours listed I'd have to say that we disliked Jiko the most. The food seemed to all taste the same and their filet couldnt come close to that of Cali Grill or Citricos. Jikos meal was nice but different...and I just couldn't get that same taste out of my mouth that every dish from there seemed to taste like. JMO ;) I'd do Cali Grill over The Wave and ask for a window seat right before wishes starts...we had our 11 month old (sleeping though) with us for this meal and it was a near perfect dinner. Their sushi is AMAZING and their entrees didn't dissapoint. The valrhona chocolate cake is to die for and @ Citricos the banana chocolate was just total bliss on a plate!

The wave - Haven't tried it yet..heard great things and horrible things.Artist Point - We love it Artist Point. Be prepared for a nice leisurely meal. -everyone has always been so nice and helpful.
Jiko - is awesome. Dbf loved the steak. He raved about it.
Citricos - haven't tried it yet. However we've made an adr for our upcoming trip because we've heard nothing but good things.

*** Narcoosees was phenomenal on our last trip and if your DH is a steak guy...he would love Yachtsman. The only signature I wasn't crazy about was Flying Fish. We'll give it another try in the future, but last trip it wasn't great!

We are doing cal. Grill earlier in the summer with our kids and hope to catch Wishes that night. We love the Wave and suggest you try on one of your trips, really great food.
