need help choosing a resort

hi everyone! i need some help choosing a resort for mid june. i've been to wdw many times, but i am trying to convince my boyfriend to go to wdw as he has never been before. i also need suggestions as to how to convince him to go b/c he thinks i'm a bit nuts for going all the time. (my b-day is the end of june so i'm trying to use that.) i'm most likely going in may as well w/my cousin so i don't think i will be able to afford a deluxe hotel in june, but i guess that depends on ap rates and/or codes. i've stayed at por, cbr, fw, and okw. my parents are dvc members but i don't think i can use many (if any) points as we have a family vacation in dec. i guess i want a somewhat romantic place, but a place that is also good for a first time visitor. i always have a hard time deciding when i go and its even harder since i really want it to be special for him. i don't think he would like csr- other than that i am unsure. any suggestions? i can't believe i am even thinking about going down twice in less than 4 weeks! thanks.

I noticed you said Port Orleans Riverside ..have you thought about Port Orleans French Quarter?? I have heard that its more romantic and compact. If you could swing it how about Wilderness Lodge it is a deluxe but seems to run a lot more affordable then most Deluxe hotels and the fireplace and the beach access is romantic IMHO. Also heard a lot of nice things about AKL being romantic as well but haven't stayed there before.

So i would think try:
POFQ
WL
AKL

Depending on the rates and discounts. and what appeals to you. but you can't go wrong with most hotels on Property i just would try and stay out of the values as I see more noise and family's there.

I would go with the new SSR - it is a DVC resort - so ask your parents for some of their points - if they say no - then go to the rent/trade DVC board here.

SSR - he can walk over to PI (for the night time fun) and to DQ for day time fun.

be close enought to WDW to enjoy the transportation - but also close to other things that he might also enjoy.
