need help choosing a pump (shoe question folks! LOL!)

okay, we are heading to my dh's aunt's wedding in a couple of weeks and I am desparate for a pair of black pumps for it. My feet grew with this pregnancy and the pair I have now are a size too small and would kill my feet. unfortunately I have zero time to shop, unless I bring the twins and my 2 year old along...in other words, not gonna happen. in other words, I need to buy on-line whatever it is I decide on. what do you think of these? which do you like better? I'm a SAHM and haven't worn heels in a long time, well, other than an hour at the twins baptisms. Don't think I can deal with a higher heel right now. 2 year old is the ring bearer and I know I'm going to be very busy.

And I can sympathize with you. I used to wear heels, high heels, every day to work. Now I very rarely have an opportunity to wear heels at all. I just got back from a cruise where I was wearing 3 inch heels on formal night...talk about a fish out of water, LOL! But it did all come back to me after a while.

Hard to know what to pick unless I knew what you were wearing. At least one of them is suede, would that go with your outfit?

I like the mules and the Banana republic silhouette pump the best.

Let me preface this with a couple things, lol. First, I am not a shoe person. I don't go ga-ga over shoes and don't really own more than about 6 pairs (2 tennies, 2 heels, 1 slipon casual, 1 clog, snow boots (do they even count?). Second, I am a wahm and don't need heels really at all except I will occasionally wear them to church. Third, I am very cheap, lol. There is no chance I would spend $100+ on a pair of shoes (see first and second, lol). Why not find a comfy pair you can try on rather than ordering (always a hard thing to guage when buying online)?

The first one is dressy enough to be dressy, but simple enough to be more versatile and wear more places.

The other 3 are definitley more limited to "dressy".

All are nice though.

I think a mule is a good idea...less possibility of "pinching" and blisters....I hate pinchy shoes!

thanks everyone I really wish I could just go shopping and try them on myself. not gonna happen, though, unfortunatley. would be interesting to try...2 year old and one 5 month old twin in the double stroller, other twin in the baby bjorn, trying on heels and trying to balance. LOL!

still not sure which to get, and now I found a couple of cute choices at talbots.com just to make the decision harder. I may just go ahead and order a couple of pairs and return the one I don't like.

I do love the mules, and think they would be very comfy, but I'm wearing a longish black skirt (3/4 length) and can't decide how they would look with it.

I am a shoe and purse freak. I have more shoes than I know what to do with. I love the 2nd pair the best. Very classic looking.

I like the second one but I don't think you will express much milk with it! I would recommend renting one from the Birth Center nearest you! Medela worked great for me!!
