Need help: Caribbean Beach or AoA?

I had decided to stay at Caribbean Beach for a solo trip in July. Then today I see that a little mermaid room at AoA is close to the same price for my trip. Not sure what to do now! I've always thought it would be so fun to stay at Art of Animation...but it was out of my usual price range. Have any of you stayed at both? Thoughts? I wonder if CB would be more relaxing since this is a solo adult trip. Thanks for your help!

If you are going for relaxing, I would stick with the Caribbean Beach. They have some great lounge chairs by the river that you can sit and relax in.

I agree with PP. I think I'd choose Caribbean Beach also. AoA was fine, but not what I would call relaxing. And since this is a solo trip you might enjoy the pool time at CBR more than at AoA.

CBR will be more relaxing. We stayed in Jamaica opposite the beach. Love those beach hammocks. Nothing says relaxing like swaying in a hammock under palm trees!! We were close to the quiet pool too, and bus stop. Short walk to bridge over to OPR. Be sure to explore the area along bridge. Very pretty and some hidden nooks.

I would go with CBR. Definitely a more relaxing feel to the resort. I find the values too loud and crowded for me.

Jamaica is a grouping of buildings. Have a look at a resort map. There's prob one on the CBR thread. Many request Jamaica #45 because it's right in front of the bridge. But we were down a bit closer to the quiet pool and loved that location. Our building was 42 near pool end. And opposite the beach & those hammocks
