Need help about giving long distance gift

I am trying to find a site where you can send a gift to someone without knowing their address. Like you purchase a gift then put in their email address. That person is notified they have a gift and they put in the address they want it to go to.

I remember doing this a long time ago but dont remember the site.

I did a google search for "email address gifts" and came up with a bunch of websites that will send people gift cards via email. I've never heard of what you're looking for though.

The only thing I can think of is sending an Amazon gift certificate to their email. We have gotten some of those and then you just apply the code to your Amazon account and it sits there like a credit until you use it.
