just got my info packed DIS newsletter and was very excited to see they're highlighting spas. And I was even more excited to see the first spa showcased was the Zahanati Spa at AKL.

I saw two facials that intrigued me..the gentleman's facial and the my first facial. Mind you, I'm already an old pro when it comes to getting facials...but I'm thinking about my DH and niece.

The Gentleman's facial is $80 for 50 minutes, the My First is $50 for 25 minutes.

Anyone have any firsthand experience with a gentleman's or my first facial? Do men normally like getting facials? I know how great they feel, but how do I convince my DH he needs one..and will like it to boot?

Also, my niece is 10.....is that too young to have your first facial? I didn't get my first one until I was in college.

Thanks in advance!

My DD had my first facial at the GF Spa when she was 14. We really liked what it did to her complexion and she continued to get them every six months or so. She has the clearest skin for a teenager.

If you niece is starting to have oily skin and blemishes I'd say go for it. But if she still has her beautiful kid complexion, I think there are probably other ways to spend that money that she'd enjoy more.

Have a great trip!

Hmmm I have never had a facial, mostly because I have a beard so paying for a full facial seems like a waste of money for this dude.
