*** EDITED*** I had my dates wrong! (And I can't figure out how to delete my thread!) This actually isn't an issue for me anymore... Disneyland is closing early on the 5th of February, not the 12th. I am interested, though, in advise for the future about this type of situation... (Original message below)

Hey all! I've received excellent advice here before; and now I have a question that I cannot find an answer to! I know y'all will know...
I'm flying down and have one park day (Feb. 12th). Originally, I was going to do a one day/one park ticket for Disneyland, but now see that they're closing early for an event at 8pm. So, my Disney Experts, I ask; which would you choose?

1) Stick with one day/one park in Disneyland (it may be less busy that day, since it closes early?)
2) Change to one day/one park in California Adventure (but it may be MORE busy, since D-Land closes early?)
3) Bite the bullet and get a park hopper... Which begs the question; which park do I reserve to start in?

If you encounter something like this in the future I would first check the closing time at the other park. If its midnight, I’d bite the bullet and get the park hopper. If its 10pm (ie only 2 hrs extra) I’d probably just max out my time in Dland and then enjoy Downtown Disney if I still wanted to be in the bubble. In the park hopper case, I’d reserve Dland because you can get so much done in the am, and then you have the evening in DCA to knock out attractions.
