Need expert advice on Southwest

Gail:
How does 146.50 per person ns/rt total into Tampa strike you for those dates? Sure is a lot easier a drive from Tampa into WDW than LI into NYC.
Actually, that sounds great! I didn't even think of checking Tampa. I think I may book my tickets tomorrow. If I do, and then LI to Orlando rates go down, can I change my flights without a fee? Or is it only into the same airport?

You sure can change your time, airport, etc. No fee. You first make sure there is available seating on the new reservation you are going to make then you have to cancel the first reservation, then purchase the new reservation with the cancelled reservation funds. It is easy, honest and if you follow the prompts and KEEP THE ORIGINAL reservation number you will have no problems.
Good luck and I hope this is easier for you.

Thank you so much for the help! I just booked LI to TPA for $732.50 all inclusive, for the five of us! That's cheaper than I paid 2 years ago! I'm so excited. I will keep looking for Orlando prices to come down, or for a later return flight out of TPA (right now we're leaving at 1:10 PM). But if we have to stay as is, it's still great! We're going to Orlando!!!!

MrsMud,
You are entirely welcome, I do love to help others. I am really pleased that it worked out for you and I can tell you Tampa is really easy, much smaller than MCO. The drive is very easy also, just a bit longer (equal if you hit some of that nasty traffic on I4 out of MCO :) ).
Let me know if I can help further.

I tried the Tampa connection and not much different than MCO. So will just hang in there, maybe tomorrow SWA will have some specials. It seems the only days open for the low fares are Wednesday, which doesn't help me as I am going on the DCL. I don't mind going a day early and staying a day later, which is what we did last year. So will just hang on for awhile.

Plus am leaving in 48 hours and won't be checking the computer for 2 weeks.

Nancy

Mrs.Mud,
Just checked airfares from LI and I am REALLY happy you booked yesterday. Take a look!!!
