We will be traveling down with my sister and her family. We each have 5 in our family so our plan is to each get a value room and then split the cost of a 3rd value room for our 5th family members. I'm not sure if we should book it as 1 reservation or 2. I thought maybe I would book the 2 rooms and then just have her book the 1 and just pay me her portion of the 2nd room. If we put her youngest son on the second room charging wouldn't be a problem since he wouldn't need to charge anything himself. My only question is how that would affect his dining since we don't plan to do the parks together. Would they have to have him get in line with them to scan his bracelet for his meal? Is there a better way to do this? Want to be prepared and have everything decided by time I call later this week. Thanks.

Yes they would need to scan his MB for his meal credit. But they would need to make sure they only took one so probably safest to order his separately so they don't accidentally take more off then they should.

As far as I know each room will be its own reservation, at least that is what I had to do when I booked two rooms. You must have at least one adult listed as the main person in each room. It might be worthwild to list an adult from each party in the 3rd room that way you are not relying on a child to keep up with magic band and dining credits.

I thought about putting our husbands each in the 3rd room to make it easy but then decided against it because we want my husband to have the ability to charge and I don't want my BIL's charges on my room. I figured my sisters 8yo is the only one they wouldn't let charge anything since their other 2 kids are teenagers. But then his meals would be on a separate bracelet. I guess I'll ask her tonight if she is giving the teens charging privileges, if she's not I'll put the oldest teen in that room.

Sounds like a good plan.
