Hello all - and help!
We did 9 days last June at both WDW and Universal - 3 days at HRH and then at timeshare near AK. Hot but well planned and wonderful.
I am taking my kids back there the Thursday before President's Day - for 3 nites, then heading further south to see friends. The kids MUST return to IOA and I MUST return to EPCOT. So, location of a property really isn't too much of an issue since we will have a car. But - I am waffling hugely on the deal I can get and the criteria. I guess we should do IOA on Friday before the big weekend - but how bad will the crowdw be?
Can really use everyone's two cents to help me! Here are my concerns - I can't wait to get your responses!

Would love to say onsite at Univeral for FOTL, but that is just not a budetary option, esp since we will do only one day at IOA. It was a great perk, that's for sure.
I need a nicely landscaped pool. I know that sounds picky, but mid winter, coming from the northeast - is like a year's worth of therapy for me. It's really really silly but really really something we just must have.
I notice everything at a hotel, but primarily, it has to be immaculate.
Included breakfast is a huge plus. that saves a lot of money so allows me up to about $150/night if I have to.
I love the rates at the WDW Value Resorts - but - they seem very "cement-y" to me - they just don't say "Tropical Paradise"!
Short of Priceline, which are the best hotel websites you've found>? I noticed Hotelking mentioned on these boards, and they do have great rates - any others?
I have a cancellable res at the Res Inn International Drive at $144, but am not too excited about the property - any feedback?
Any specific hotel names that meet all this criteria would really be helpful - it's dizzying and yes, I do want it all, and am willing to spend time finding it!
