We are headed to DL for 4 or 5 days in January. I have torn my meniscus of my knee and the doc says I can go if I get an ECV. I don't want to pay the fees at Disney for one. Where can I rent one?

OC medical..they have a store at Harbor and disney way at Ramada.
about $40..a day..call ahead to reserve and they will have it waiting when you get there..or will deliver to whatever hotel you are staying

read about what its like using an ECV in DL. if i remember properly, you have to park it outside rides like the ones in fantastyland, and then they bring you in the exit. with my manual chair, i pull right in, but there is usually not enough room for an ECV. and it is different for DL and DCA...

I just remember that there is a difference for an ECV and a manual chair. you will need your crutches with you in the park to get on and off things... I have never done DL in an ECV, but i am sure others here have good advice...

My mom always uses Deckerts to rent an ECV and they have been absolutely wonderful to work with
