Anyone have cheap Christmas ornament craft ideas? For 2nd graders?

I used this when my DD was younger. Cut a christmas tree out of craft foam. I did this for before and bought it with me. Then cut a circle out of the tree to put a picture in. I punched out decorations for them to glue on from different color foam. I think they have foam that is sticky on the back now that you can punch. Cut a larger circle to glue on the back over the picture. Also you need a star for the top. Punch a hole to hang as an ornament and use ribbon for a hanger. I made each child a package in a sandwich bag with the cutouts, star, ribbon and tree. Thay just needed to bring a picture.
