Need Easter Candy - our dog ate my Ds's basket!

Our Golden Retriever went in my son's room, which was supposed to have the door closed and there was a gate up across the room leading to there, and ate everything in his basket! We gave her hydrogen peroxide and she threw everything up, but she was not happy about it. She took the peroxide with no trouble though - poor baby. Dh was not happy about his candy being eaten, so hopefully I will be able to replace most of it!

Both my Walgreens and CVS had candy left when I went last night near closing. I'm not sure if they are open today or not. But try there.

OMG - Just to let you know that we are always on guard with our Jessie because she is just the type that would walk off with a ham or turkey in her mouth. Did you ever see the movie "A Christmas Story"? If yes, than our dog is definitely one of the Bumpis's, LOL!

So what did you have for dinner?

I put the bag of candy in a box on top of a foosball table in the middle of the recently cleaned out garage. Went to put the candy in the basket and found that a mouse had beat me to the candy. Not a fun thing to find late in the evening on Easter Eve!

That happened to our Christmas candy one year. It was in Dh's closet and we didn't know we had a mouse. Luckily he didn't get all the candy because it was like 1 a.m. on Christmas eve.

Thank goodness it was the leftover ham we had already eaten !!!

I was at Target today and they had a good amount of Easter candy left, at 30% off no less. All other Easter stuff was 50%.

Been there! Our dog ate 3lbs of the kissess for party favors I was doing for a shower. Thankfully, the vet said she was so large she would be okay

Sams Club had huge bags of Easter candy for cheap!
