We are staying for one night (Mar 18-19) and so I thought it would be cool to get the DxDP and stretch it out over 2 days. My initial thought was...

Friday
Teppan Edo for Lunch
Ohana for Dinner

Saturday
Boma

I'm not reconsidering Boma, since the DxDP comes with appetizers and such, and because with a buffet you can't take home any extras, I thought I might look around.

However...it has to be outside the parks as we only have weekday season passes so can't go into the parks on Saturday.

The rest of the week we will be visiting the parks but from my DD22's apartment up by UCF. I love the perks of sending her there! :thumbsup2

First off, I hope those reservations are already made. Ohana this close may be impossible to get. If they are, great, that's a very good thing :).

As for the Saturday night, I personally love Boma and if you don't have it planned (or able to be planned) for later in the trip, I'd keep it. Otherwise, have you looked into Sanaa over at AKV? It's supposedly a very nice, upscale 1 credit place with some good and unique offerings. Other than that, keeping to 1 credit TS, non-buffets, outside of the parks, I'd think of Turf Club at SSR as well. Another place I haven't been but only hear great things about. Both should be relatively easy to get into "Last Minute" as well.

We have reservations for Ohana, we were able to get 9pm - late, I know but since we live in the central time zone maybe we won't be asleep by then? LOL I'm going to continue to try to get an earlier slot. I have Teppan Edo that same day for 1:30, was hoping to get it earlier. Boma is for 4:30 on Saturday. I also considered whispering canyon and just not ordering the AYCE. I've been on a diet and really don't want to feel like I have to eat it ALL right then.

I haven't heard or Sanaa or Turf Club so will look into both of them, thank you for the suggestions!

I'd consider the Wave. It's as close as you can get to a signature without being a signature. Sanaa is a new restaurant but it gets consistantly good reveiws.
You could also do a signature and pay oop for one entree. Pay 1 person with credits. They get an app, entree, dessert, and you get a an entree. If that were the case I'd do Calif Grill, Jikos, or Flying Fish.

I have looked at all of these, I don't think my 7-yo would be the best candidate for the signature restaurants, but considering Sanaa. Thanks!!

Ok change of plans...I was able to move Ohana to Saturday night! So...we have 2 table services we can use Friday in a park! I would like to keep Teppan Edo, but have NO IDEA what else...what is your favorite? We can park hop...

I don't understand how you have 2 TS credits for Friday night. One night of DxDDP gives you 3 credits. You are using 1 for Teppan Edo on Friday and 1 for Ohana on Saturday. Won't you just have 1 for Friday night?

For each night you stay you get 3 TS. You can use them anytime the day you check in and the day you check out up until midnight, so we have all day Friday and all day Saturday to use them.

I was thinking maybe Yak and Yeti and Teppan Edo on Friday, and Ohana on Saturday...but so far I haven't been able to get teppan edo at a good time on Friday night (only 1:50).

She means 2 TS total, not 2 additional. She's counting the Teppan Edo she already has ;).

There are quite a good number of other Epcot restaurants with decent (6:30pm - 8:30pm) time slots for dinner that night, Teppan is pretty much the only one that doesn't have anything before 9:40pm (and Via Napoli's earliest is 9:15pm) ><.

I don't know what your taste buds are like, but I enjoyed both San Angel Inn and Hacienda de San Angel when I was there last year. Other options (based off of other people, I can't vouch for these) are Biergarten (it's another buffet though), Chefs de France, Tutto Italia, all have openings at not so horrible times.

Oh, now I see. I thought the OP was saying she had 2 additional ones with the Teppan Edo and Ohana reservations. Two in the parks, huh? Well, I would definitely keep the Teppan Edo for lunch, even if it's at 1:50. As far as another restaurant, I wouldn't recommend hopping to AK for Yak and Yeti since it closes at 8:00 that night. I would probably stay in Epcot and eat at one of the restaurants that appeal to you. I don't have any recommendations since I've eaten at only Teppan Edo and Le Cellier, and dinner at LC is now 2 credits. You could hop to MK which closes at midnight and stop in at Kona Cafe for dinner before going to the park.

If your thinking of staying in Epcot, we always have trouble limiting our choices.
We enjoy the Rose & Crown, Restaurant Marakessh, San Angel Inn and want to try Tutto Italia, Via Napoli and Tokoyo Dining
So many choices, so little time :)
Enjoy

Thanks for looking for me. :thumbsup2 I would probably love most of the ones you mentioned but my kids not so much LOL I would probably pick Tutto Italia, and actually talked to them about Mama Melrose but they aren't excited about Italian. If I haven't said, I'm traveling with DD22, DD16 and DS7.

I'm sorry for the confusion, I think I Was confusing myself last night too LOL I looked up Yak and Yeti and we would like to give it a try if we can fit it in. I didn't realize AK was open that late so going to go back and see if I can get it later in the evening!

Thanks, we don't have to stay at Epcot, mostly would just like to try something new! We have done the dining plan a few times and are at the point where we kind of stick to what we know, and I like to branch out and try at least one new place each time now. On our Feb trip we ate at Ohana, Whispering Canyon, Boma and Crystal Palace. I hadn't intended on having two trips so close together, but DD16 wasn't able to go in Feb and next week is her spring break so....what can I say she twisted my arm. LOL
