Need DME advice for a DVC rented reservation

I have rented points for a reservation at the end of July from a wonderful DVC owner who has taken care of every piece of my reservation so far. Part of our party is flying in, and would now like to sign up for the DME transportation.

When I contacted my renter to give her the flight info to set up the DME, I found out that she has had to travel out of state to care for her mother who is very ill with serious medical problems. She doesn't have my reservation information or her computer with her, and really is quite occupied by taking care of her mother. I know I can't call MS, but is there ANY other way for me to book the DME reservation? I really don't want to trouble her right now since her mother is in such a grave state.

Please let me know of another way to handle this! TIA!!!
 
Unfortunately she has to set it up; however, she should easily be able to call MS without any of your reservation info (as long as she knows which dates you are going and has flight information, names and a phone number for you) and schedule ME within about 5 minutes.

I am sorry to hear about her mother, but this is a bare minimum that she must do, I wish I had better news for you.
 
As long as you have your confirmation number, dates, resort etc. and flight info you can call Magical Express guest services and set it up yourself.

Thank you for replying! I called the number and set up their DME, but of course the documents will have to be mailed to the renter's address. I am just hoping someone can ship them on to my friends.....fingers CROSSED!
 

If the documents do not arrive in time just go directly to the Disney Welcome Desk at the Orlando International Airport (located on Terminal A side of Level 1) and Disney will happily provide the free transportation and luggage service for you as long as the reservation has been booked for them.
 
Agree with above poster, we do have had to go by the ME desk at airport terminal to get all set up when our luggage tags failed to arrive at our home prior to the flight. You can give them your baggage claim tickets and they can retrieve your luggage and then later take it to your resort also.
