Our dancing/singing group is having a raffle at a talent competition and we thought it would be great to raffle off a big item like Disney tickets. We have no clue how to go about asking for donated tickets. Anyone done this? Who did you ask? Did they send you tickets?

There is a public relations office, but I don't have the number off hand. I would start with Guest Services and see if they can steer you in the right direction.

See if they have a Community Relations office because that's usually the office I have dealt with at other parks. Knott's has one and Sea World too. You usually write or fax a letter in requesting a pair of tickets for a fundraiser and you have to identify what the organization is. If its for a nonprofit organization, you should have no problems but all others they do on a case by case basis.

The non-profit associated with our dance studio did the same thing. Another mom made the request, but forwarded me the e-mail that said we got the tickets (2 1-day tickets). This is the e-mail address that the answer came from: DLR.Community.Relations@disney.com

Fabulous!
I will be checking into the public relations on the DL site as well as preping a letter and sending it to the email address.

I had e-mailed them recently as well for doorprizes for our School Social Workers conference. I was told no because they said they don't give donations to people in Tennessee (you have to live in certain states). I was sad.
