I usually do a "theme" to my Easter baskets for my kids. This June will be our first cruise and we are all so excited! My ds is soon to be 9 and my dd is 5. Any ideas on things I could put in their basket that would be cruise themed?

Disney FE! Also pirate stuff, cool cup with lid to use at soda machine, Disney socks, sunscreen, backpack/tote bag to use on the ship, card games, small toys, Disney school supplies, sun glasses, flashlights, glow sticks, swim suit, flip flops, etc.

Disney insulated cups to take with you? Maybe pirate night costume pieces?
Sand toys for CC?

Hard to do the basket, and then make them wait to use the stuff, though. These things could be played with now, and reused later for the trip.

Have fun.

DD loves the Disney temporary tatoos. I get her a pack for every cruise. On Saturday I bought her Jake and the Neverland pirate ones at Target for 30 cents for a 25 pack. In the past she has also gotten Nemo and Princess ones. Target, Party City, and Christmas Tree Shop have a lot of Disney licensed odds and ends for really cheap. A trip to those places and the Disney store saves you a lot of money. I give DD a item each day so she isn't begging us to buy something at the gift shop.

Every year instead of a basket, my boys (6 & 7) get a sand bucket. Then I put sand toys and other odds and ends in the bucket. I keep thinking they'll be to old for it, but every year they love it. So maybe something like this with toys to play with on CC?

So many great ideas! I didn't even think about doing a Disney Cruise themed Easter basket but now that's exactly what I'll do! A gift card, plus a few vacation items... she'll be so excited!!!

If they don't have cameras maybe add some of throw away ones or a real inexpensive digital one to take their own pics with on the ship. My Dds are in their early teens now and love looking back at the nice and then the "creative" pics they've taken over the years. Maybe do the baskets in the signature colors of the ship. Browse thru a Disney store or the on line store to see what you seen. Have fun.
