Need Dining Suggestions for Anniversary Trip

I don't know if others will agree, but I know that DS does. He and DDIL went there for their wedding anniversary and they were very disappointed in the "hub-bub" atmosphere, as he called it.

I was just about to book a new ADR at Cali Grill after reading the first page of this thread. . .then saw this! And unfortunately know the feeling well. Thanks for saving me!

NoodlesMom - Clicked the link to the other thread and it sounds interesting, but got bogged down in the 41-page thread. Can you sum it up for me? Right now I have a room-only reservation (with the 40% off promotion) for five nights, Sunday night thru Thusday night. I was planning to add deluxe dining & park tickets to this. Could i cancel it and book a four-night room only, add the dining & tickets, and then book a one-night premium package? Would I have to then have a 4-day pass for the parks and 1-day pass, rather than a 5-day pass? That would make the overall cost go up as well, correct? Can I add premium to a room-only reservation to make it a package?

Thanks for your help.

Yes, that's the way you would have to do it. It may not be the best idea for you. We have a 40% off as well and we are doing 1 day premium package and the other days are room only. Since we have 3 signature meals, we will just pay out of pocket for everything else. You can add more than 1 day park tickets to the 1 day prmium package but it your case you would have to pay twice for a park ticket in order for you to add dinning to your room package. We are also only going to the parks for 2 days and we are using 2 days to enjoy everything that the premium package has to offer. Hopefully this wasn't too confusing. Have a great vacation.:yay:

2 of our favorite breakfasts are in easy walking distance for you- Kouzzina & Fresh at the Dolphin.

Boma is also tops for us & is pretty easy to get to. Just take a bus to Animal Kingdom & then transfer to an Animal Kingdom Lodge bus there. We do this from the Dolphin, which is right next to Boardwalk. We leave an hour for travel time, but have not needed that long. Driving / Cab would be more like 15 minutes.

We are doing the same, going for 5 nights without the kids to celebrate our Anniversary. We chose the reg dining plan, and have booked Citricos, Yachtsman, Cape May, and Ohana breakfast to end our trip. It was cheaper for us to do it this way instead of the deluxe dining plan. We only pay oop for 1 meal (Ohana breakfast) and I take cereal and buy milk for the room for breakfast. We are not traditionally big eaters so THINKING of eating all 3 meals in the parks/resorts make me full. We have chose 1 day we are going to Typhoon Lagoon then downtown, so we didn't want a reservation to tie us down PLUS we both love the cs options DTD.

Enjoy your trip and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!:flower3:
