I'm traveling with my family - 4 adults and 3 teen girls ( 13, 14 & 16) in June. We're staying off site at Sheraton Vistana so we will be able to cook some meals there. The teens have already told us they want to split off from us in the parks but I want all of us together for at least one special dinner in one of the parks. I'm looking for suggestions for a restaurant that would appeal to all of us (age 13-81) but one that won't "break the bank" . One of my favorites is the restaurant in the Mexican pavilion but the teens weren't thrilled when I told them it's real Mexican food - not Taco Bell! .. and I don't want to waste money on food that won't be eaten. I was also thinking of one of the Fantasmic dinner packages. Thanks!

Which park are you looking to go to. There are many restaurants at the parks so we can narrow it down for you if you have a specific park in mind.

Are the girls adventurous eaters? if not I might suggest either the Garden Grill in the Land Pavillion at Epcot, Hollywood and Vine at Hollywood Studios (which is a buffet restaurant on the Fantasmic Dinner package), or the Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom

We like Mama Melrose's for our Fantasmic Dinner Packages.

Other fun, family restaurants are Whispering Canyon Cafe (which is a short boat ride away from the MK at the Wilderness Lodge) or Ohana at the Poly (also a short boat ride or monorail ride away from the MK).

Or, for a character meal, maybe Liberty Tree Tavern (Minnie, Goofy, Chip, Dale, & Pluto) in the MK or Chef Mickey's (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, & Pluto) at the Contemporary Resort (a monorail ride away from the MK). Food is served family-style at Liberty Tree Tavern, and Chef Mickey's is a buffet.

If the teens aren't sold on San Angel Inn in Epcot, maybe Coral Reef (dine while you watch the fish in the aquarium) in the Seas w/ Nemo & Friends in the Future World part of Epcot - or one of the other WS restaurants?

I would suggest you give Ohana a try, even though it is in Polynesian. It is only a short monorail ride there.
